smøre plan

(The Treatment Schedule)

Client: Psoriasis- og eksemforbundet Ung (PEF-ung)

Status: Work in Progress

For children with skin conditions, daily treatments can often feel stressful. I partnered with PEF-ung to design and illustrate "Smøreplanen" a visual toolkit built to empower kids and make their daily routines much easier to manage.

My role covers the complete visual delivery, including layout design, character design and marketing illustrations. Central to the project is the creation of five original characters. These characters will also be produced as physical stickers with the treatment schedules, allowing the children to proudly mark off their schedules every time they successfully apply their cream.

(Please note: This project is currently in development, and the final designs are still being refined.)

Meet the Characters

Every character has their own set of emotions. Kids can choose the expression that best matches their mood and add it to their weekly schedule after applying their cream. Click on the characters to view their different moods!

Personalized Weekly Plans

To give children a sense of ownership over their routine, the treatment schedules are designed in three different variations, featuring the characters Barri, Hudini, and Eskemil. When visiting the doctor, kids can pick their favorite character, making the medical plan feel more personal and motivating.

Situation-Based Illustrations

To complement the treatment schedules, I created a series of situation-based illustrations. These artworks were specifically designed to support PEF-ung's marketing efforts, bringing the characters to life across their printed magazine and social media channels.
